Abstract: The article presents information related to prescription for osteoporosis in primary care. The prescribed drugs for the disease and fracture prevention were are suitable for primary care since they are safe and cost-effective. However, it is important to identify and treat patients at the highest risk of future fracture which included those who have experienced fragility fractures or those who were recommended oral steroid therapy for three months. Primary care includes bisphosphonates and raloxifene.
